Getting there
from AUckland international airport
View Larger Map Airport pickup is available for $60. If you arrive by car from the south follow the directions to the airport and then to Auckland City. After having passed the Mangere bridge don't take exit Auckland but follow the motorway until it ends into a large roundabout. Follow the directions towards "Waitakere". At the first traffic light (Maioro Rd) go straight ahead. After 500m you arrive at the next traffic light. Make a right turn here into New Windsor Road ab and follow the street that first makes a left turn and then descends into a valley. Here the street changes name to Tiverton Rd heiss. At the roundabout make a right turn into Whitney Street. After 200m you'll see our house on the right hand side. Travel Time from Airport: 20 Minutes Motorway, 5 Minutes from the Exit to the house.
Around the House
The apartment is located in the suburb of New Windsor. The next bus stop is at Tiverton Rd corner Whitney St (about 200m). From there are busses to the City, the university, New Lynn Mall, and St Lukes Mall. Around the corner New Windsor Road / Bentleigh Ave there's a small shop and a Fish 'n Chips restaurant, whose owner also serves "chinese" food. In Bentleigh Avenue there's a laundrette. A playground for the children is at Brydon Reserve.

- C — Avondale Village with several shops, banks, post office, police office, physicians, dentists, cinema, bakery etc.
- D — Here's a pub, a few grocery shops, a butcher etc.
- e — Pak'nSave supermarket.
- f — Malaysia Noodle & Rice House. Good and cheap.
